# BidFlo customer-value journey for fintech partners

Public explanatory guide · October 26, 2026. In a proposed fintech-led distribution relationship, a fintech brings its existing customers to BidFlo’s full job journey: request, scope, proposals, agreement, milestones, invoices and payment. The fintech retains its customer relationship. The journey may add customer value and engagement and may support retention; it does not guarantee adoption, retention or revenue.

BidFlo does not need the fintech to provide payment infrastructure. Stripe remains unchanged. Only if a customer’s supported fintech gateway is separately agreed, implemented and authorized could an optional payment layer be explored; it would not itself grant payment authority. The general product demo is source-derived and uses local simulated transactions. No partner API, OAuth service, webhook receiver, payment adapter or fintech connection is implemented. This guide is written material, not a video.

## One fictional project

BF-1024 — Apartment 204 — Water damage repair. Riverside Management is the Owner/payer; Clearwater Restoration is the Contractor/payee. Agreed principal is USD 6,840: USD 1,368 deposit, USD 2,736 progress and USD 2,736 final, a 20/40/40 schedule. These are invoice amounts, not fees. The fictional Austin location is not evidence of Texas availability; official product pages checked October 26, 2026 state New York availability.

## Owner / property-manager perspective

Open [the Owner demo](https://demobidflo.com/owners). Identify Riverside Management and follow the sample Create project action. Review the issue and AI-assisted or manual scope; an assessment is not independent inspection, guaranteed pricing or underwriting.

Review the request and its explicit publishing action. A walkthrough Next button does not prove that the request was published. Compare Clearwater Restoration's proposal, scope, agreed amount and payment schedule. Review only the provided sample compliance documents. A certificate review is not a guarantee of insurance coverage or financial compliance.

Explore the sample agreement, acceptance and project milestones. Use only fictional sample names and controls; never provide real signatures, customer invitations or production records. Work reporting and human work review are separate from invoice approval and financial state.

Review the three stage invoices and verify Contractor, stage, amount and exact issued revision. A deposit can be payable before completion; progress and final stages must satisfy their agreed eligibility conditions. In the current demo, deposit/progress controls combine approval and simulated payment. The proposed partner integration deliberately separates invoice approval, preparation of one hosted session and payer authorization.

The local final checkout illustrates USD 2,736 due. Do not enter bank/card details or connect Stripe. A visible checkout, browser confirmation, vendor rating, training completion or Next-only ending never proves authorization, collection, settlement or payout.

## Contractor / vendor perspective

Open [the Contractor demo](https://demobidflo.com/vendors). Identify Clearwater Restoration and the same BF-1024 opportunity in Bid Lobby. Review requirements, scope, timeline and agreed terms. A profile does not complete merchant onboarding or guarantee a project award.

Explore the supplied fictional proposal and agreement controls. Proposal submission, acceptance and reporting progress do not grant authority to debit the Owner. Demo role switching is not production identity verification.

Review source summaries for deposit USD 1,368, progress USD 2,736 and final USD 2,736. Invoice issuance is a local simulation in the general demo. In the proposed integration, the authorized Owner still separately approves the exact issued invoice revision before the payer authorizes payment.

Any illustrated paid summary is a simulated Owner response, not a Contractor charge or live webhook. Verified collection, later returns, refunds, disputes, settlement and contractor payout require separate records.

## Proposed partner handoff

Before preparing a session, a future backend would atomically recheck the approval bound to the invoice revision, consented customer link, payee, currency and authoritative outstanding amount. An unresolved processing/unknown attempt on an older revision blocks duplicate collection; changing a revision or idempotency key cannot bypass that protection.

The payer would authorize payment inside the fintech's supported hosted flow. Prepared or pending session responses do not move money. A browser return URL is navigation only. Verify signed provider events against raw bytes, persist and deduplicate them, match stored transaction references, and reconcile unknown outcomes or out-of-order status updates.

Collection success is not proof of contractor payout, irrevocable settlement or absence of future returns. No immediate payout, escrow, financing, lower fee, insurance coverage, approval or job-award guarantee is made.
